Hi,

Let me try to answer your two last messages into this.

The Eval_Proxy_Redirects is deprecated because it can potentially
cause security problems. Why do you think you need it?
Anyway, thanks for the warning: we'll try to fix the error.

Well, if you are trying to proxy a normal, well-behaved site, proxying
with the PAPI RewritingProxy is straightforward: just defining the
appropriate values for Remote_URL or Remote_Domain...

But in many cases, as you have discovered by yourself, it is necessary
to apply special rewrite rules for certain components (images, relative
links, scripts, stylesheets,...). This is general for all HTTP rewriting
proxies we are aware of and that's why we mantain a community-supported
repository of proxy definitions at http://papi.rediris.es/comu/proxies/

If you don't find the specific definition for the site/domain you
are trying to proxy, at least it can help you in getting some ideas
on how deal with the Arcane Craft of Proxy Specification.

Best regards,
