Call for Papers is open for 2017 AHES Conference in Sydney NSW (Thursday 21st - Friday 22th September)
AHES Conference 2017 - Sydney
Our annual conference this year will be held in Sydney on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd of September 2017, at the Australian National Maritime Museum. The local organisers are: Henry Cutler, Bonny Parkinson, and Ashley Soytemiz (Macquarie University Centre for the Health Economy).
We are delighted to announce that our keynote speakers for the 2017 conference will be: Maarten Lindeboom (Professor of Economics at VU University, Amsterdam) and Meredith Rosenthal (Professor of Health Economics and Policy at Harvard University).

Call for Abstracts
Abstracts are now invited for the AHES Conference:
1. Short presentation (20 min presentation; 5 min Q&A)
2. Long presentation (35 min presentation; 10 min discussion; 5 min Q&A)
3. Organised sessions (100 minutes, consisting of 4 presentations)
All Submissions are to be made via our online abstract submission form by the deadline of: Sunday 4thJune 2017.
Long paper submissions will require a full paper (maximum 8000 words, in pdf format) to be submitted with the abstract, and all selected papers will have a discussant allocated. Papers that are not accepted for a long paper will be considered for the short paper sessions.
AHES is also offering the AHES travel scholarship this year. Eligible applicants must submit a full paper (maximum 8,000 words, in pdf format) together with your abstract by the deadline.
