On 23 October 2014 the EU leaders approved the new “2030 framework for climate and energy policies”, setting a new binding target of at least 27% for renewable energy and energy savings by 2030.
A wide range of funding possibilities exists under the new 2014-2020 multiannual framework for financing renewable energy projects. Unfortunately many countries are not sufficiently prepared to absorb these funds.
The EIPA-seminar on EU Funds for Renewable Energy Projects, is designed to give participants not only a good insight in the EU’s renewable energy policy, but also, and even more important, give them the tools to make use of it, based on real case examples. Experienced professionals will teach you how to write proposals for projects to be funded by the Directive, to successfully handle the intermediate and final phases of a project, and to learn about financial reporting. They will help you to avoid errors and mistakes.
The seminar is not only meant for public officials from national, regional or local level, but also for officials from related agencies, private sector and NGO’s. In order to give participants a basic understanding and be well prepared for the working groups, reading material will be sent to them two weeks before the seminar.
