2019 AHES Conference and AHED Workshop

Abstract submission is now open for the 2019 AHES conference. The 41st Annual AHES conference will be held in Melbourne on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th September, 2019.

Abstracts are invited for:
1. Oral presentations (20 minutes+ 5 min question time)
2. Organised sessions (100 minutes, consisting three to four papers with or without a discussant)

All submissions are to be made online by the deadline of Sunday 26th May 2019. Guidelines for abstracts can be found on our website.

Submissions for this year’s conference will be taken via the Cvent website. This will be our central website to handle submissions, acceptances, and the program.

Student Travel Scholarship
AHES is also offering the AHES travel scholarship this year. Eligible students will be invited to present at the AHED workshop based on the quality of their abstract submission to the main conference.

AHED Workshop
The 7th Annual Australian Health Economics Doctoral Workshop will be held on the Monday 23rd September 2019 the day before the conference at the Melbourne Institute, Melbourne University.

The first author of each abstract must be a PhD student and the student must present work from their PhD.

Abstracts submitted by PhD students to the main AHES conference will be automatically considered for the AHED workshop. Students will be invited to participate in the AHED workshop based on the quality of their abstract submission to the main conference.

If invited, students will be asked to prepare a paper of no more than 8,000 words in preparation for the workshop. (N.B. Those papers that are not selected for the AHED workshop will be automatically considered for the main AHES conference).

Abstracts should be submitted via the Cvent website, following the relevant guidelines for submission to the main conference (by the submission date of Sunday 26th May 2019).
