A new version of the UKPDS diabetes Outcomes Model is now available.
We are holding a virtual launch event on Monday 6th July 2020 from 14:00 to 15.15 UK time (British Summer Time) (13:00-14:15 GMT). This live webinar will be presented by the researchers from Oxford University leading and developing the UKPDS Outcomes Model and will include:
• An introduction to the model and the latest model features
• A demonstration of the UKPDS Outcomes Model version 2.1
• Hints and tips on how to get the most out of the model
• A live question and answer session
• Information on future model developments and the opportunity to tell us what features you would most like included in future model versions.
Please register for the webinar at https://oxford.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/virtual-launch-of-ukpds-om-software-version-21-copy. The webinar is free and open to all.
The UKPDS Outcomes Model version 2.1 includes the following new features:
• Compare up to 25 treatment groups simultaneously
• Major speed improvements
• Functionality to tailor output to only the outcomes you need to speed up the model
• New outputs showing convergence and user-defined composite outcomes
• Improved multi-processing for computers with up to 124 processors
• Optimises disk space for larger datasets
• Outputs bootstrap results for each patient. This feature facilitates subgroup analysis, adjustment for baseline covariates and combining different types of uncertainty
