        Joint Associate Professorship in Experimental Biological Physics

The research will be at the Risoe National Laboratory (RNL) and at the
Niels Bohr Institute for Astronomy, Physics and Geophysics (NBIfAFG).
Five staff members at the RNL, Condensed Matter Physics and Chemistry
Department, and the group of the Center for Chaos and Turbulence Studies
at the Niels Bohr Institute will form the close research environment.

The successful candidate must have documented experimental research at
international level and is expected to become a leading person in the build
up of a first rate experimental biophysics group. Teaching at the graduate
level is an important part of the position, as is the building up of
undergraduate courses in cooperation with other staff.

The position is ranked as a senior scientist position at the RNL and at the
same time a tenured associate professorship at NBIfAFG. The position is
open from August 1, 1998.
