Postdoctoral position available at the Laboratoire de Physique de
l?ENS de Lyon

There is an open EEC postdoctoral position starting in October 2002
(or later). The position requires an experimental Ph.D. interested in
working in out of equilibrium systems. Specifically we are studying
experimentally   how some concepts of usual thermodynamics may be
useful for understanding out of equilibrium systems, such as aging
glasses. Our recent works include, the characterization of aging,
rejuvenation and memory properties in polymers, and the measure of
the fluctuation dissipation relations in aging systems. See for

This position is restricted by the european rules of "Research
Training Networks" (RTN) to non-french citizens from the European
Union, or non-EU citizens having resided in an EU Member State for at
least five years immediately prior to their appointment in a network.
The candidates must not have carried out their normal activities in
France for more than 12 of the 24 months prior to their appointment.
They must be aged of 35 or less at the time of appointment, and have
