Vacancy call NANO AR 015/2019 PI
Position: 1 PhD fellow, selected by CV and interview (only for the
selected short list);
Research activity: “Simulation and computer modeling of deformed
graphene” (supervisor Dr V Tozzini) within the project PRIN 2017 settore
PE3 codice 2017KFMJ8E “Monolithic Strain Engineering platform for
Two-Dimensional materials”.
Qualification and preferential experience
- Master Degree in Physics, or Chemistry, or Engineering, or Information
Science, or Mathematics or related areas;
- PhD in Physics, or Chemistry, or Engineering, or Information Science,
or Mathematics or related areas;
- Previous experience in computer simulations of molecular systems
(materials and/or bio-materials and/or soft matter), with ab initio or
empiric-atomistic techniques; experience in the use of simulation
software and data analysis; also useful experience with coding and
scripting;
- good level of English; basic Italian.
Working place: Istituto NANO - Pisa Unit
Duration: 12 months
