Postdoctoral position at IFISC
Candidates are sought for a one year postdoctoral position at IFISC
(Institute for Cross-disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems), joint
institute of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and the
Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), located in Palma de Mallorca,
Spain, in the framework of the research project FISICOS.
It is not necessary to be a Spanish national or to speak Spanish to apply.
Research at IFISC is organized around the following topics:
* Complex systems, nonlinear and statistical physics
* Quantum information and nanoscience
* Nonlinear optics and dynamics of optoelectronic devices
* Fluid dynamics, biofluids, and geophysical fluids
* Biophysics and nonlinear phenomena in ecology and physiology
* Dynamics and collective phenomena of social systems
