My experimental immunology collaborator in Toulouse, Salvatore Valitutti, is
looking for a computational/theoretical postdoc to work in his lab, starting
quite soon (see below). I am forwarding this to you in case you know some
good
candidates. He has previously had a theorist (Clemens Utzny) in his lab and
has
a high opinion of theoretical work. I think this could be a great
opportunity.

best wishes

Dan

Dear Dan,

I have a favor to ask you I received by INSERM a salary for a one
year post-doctorate and I should choose rapidly a candidate. The
salary is presently for one year only but a fellowship for renewing
the salary should be not difficult to find (in particular for not
French candidates).

I would like to recruit a computational biologist since for our work
we need to have a mathematician in the lab for data analysis,
modeling, quantification of morphological data, stimulating
discussions, etc.....This would also facilitate our present and
future collaborations...

Since I must choose very soon among candidates I would be grateful is
you could put me in contact with any brilliant young computational
biologist who could be interested to work in a creative biological
environment on T cell activation.

In case you know somebody who could be potentially interested please
pass him/her my co-ordinates.

With my best regards

Salvatore

P.S. Omer would be the ideal candidate for me but I guess he will not
have his thesis this year.....
