JOB POSITION: Pre-doctoral Researcher in Environmental Technology (2 positions)

PROJECT TITLE: BIOMET - Optimisation of the production of biomethane from biogas using high-performance biotechnologies.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project aims at developing a biological solution for the pretreatment of biogas and its further bioconversion to biomethane at lab and pilot scale.  
Task to be performed include: design, construction, and operation of the microbial enrichment units, and bioreactors for biomethane production. Data treatment. Preparation of reports/papers and presentations. Other project-related tasks. The last 6 months of the project will be conducted at Madrid FCC Facilities Las Dehesas (Driving License required).  

DURATION: 01/04/2025 - 30/11/2027

MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: €1,894.31

REQUIREMENTS: 
- Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Biotechnology. 
- Oral and written communication skills in English.
- Candidates should be motivated by research and professional development, with a serious and committed approach to their work responsibilities.
- Driving license.
