Call for Expressions of Interest – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025
The European Union has launched the 2025 call for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF). We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral candidate interested in applying for this competitive fellowship in our research group, led by Dr. Ramón Hurtado-Guerrero at the Institute of Biocomputation and Physics of Complex Systems (BIFI), University of Zaragoza.
The proposed research will focus on:
• Understanding the molecular mechanisms of GalNAc-T isoenzymes, with the aim of discovering selective inhibitors to combat diseases such as cancer.
• Developing antibodies against Tn/STn antigens for cancer immunotherapy.
Candidates with complementary project ideas within these themes are also encouraged to apply. The projects will be carried out in collaboration with internationally recognized groups, including:
• Henrik Clausen (University of Copenhagen)
• Jesús Angulo (University of Sevilla)
• Ben Schumann (Francis Crick Institute)
• Jennifer Munkley (Newcastle University)

Interested candidates should send the following documents by 15th July 2025:
• A detailed CV including a list of publications during the PhD and postdoctoral periods.
• A motivation letter outlining your interest in the project and relevant expertise.
Applicants must hold a PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Veterinary Science, and demonstrate a strong interest in structural biology and computational approaches (e.g., protein design and molecular modeling).
