The Oncogenesis and Antitumor Drug group is looking for a talented postdoctoral researcher to join the team for at least two years. The selected candidate will conduct research on the evaluation of protein nanoparticles targeted to CXCR4 and PDGF receptors for the treatment of metastatic cancers.

REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Hold a PhD in cancer biology, immunology or similar
- Animal experimentation licence, with hands-on experience in rodent-handling procedures
- Competence in standard laboratory techniques (e.g. cell culture, molecular biology)
- Track record of published work (at least one as a 1st author)
- Ability to conduct both independent and collaborative research

Desirable:
- Knowledge in oncology and/or in vivo cancer models
- Competence in histopathology analysis
- Flow cytometry skills, including panel design

The Oncogenesis and Antitumor Drug group is located at the Research Institute Sant Pau in Barcelona. It belongs to Josep Carreras against Leukaemia (IJC) and the Biomedical Research Consortium in Bioengineer, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER- BBN).
Our objective is the development and preclinical evaluation of targeted nanoparticles (NPs) and nanconjugates (NCs), that selectively eliminate cancer and stromal cells in solid tumours and haematological neoplasm.
