The Essen Health Conference. Where Health meets Labour and Education Economics. 28-30 May 2020; Essen, Germany

Essen Health Conference is a forum where researchers in health economics present work on the nexus between health and socioeconomic outcomes. We invite paper submissions on any topic at the intersection between health and labour or education economics.

Examples of suitable topics
• Early life health, education, and productivity
• Retirement and health capacity to work at older ages
• Health insurance and the labour market
• Mental health and employability
• Determinants and effects of absenteeism and presenteeism
• The effects of unemployment and downturns on health
• Structural modeling of labour market decisions and health
• Prescription drug use, mental health, education and labour market outcomes
• The effect of physical and mental health on educational attainment

Contributions from early career researchers are encouraged. There is no registration fee for the conference.
