COVID-19: impacts on health and health care systems in Europe
MEETING - 18 SEPTEMBER 2020
THE LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS

The upcoming meeting calls for a wide range of timely research on the health system challenges and policy responses to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. These include issues linked to measures introduced in response to the pandemic, potential or observed consequences, comparisons of governance approaches, and experiences of patients and the medical profession.

The European Health Policy Group is a multidisciplinary network that aims to stimulate International collaboration and learning through comparative analysis of changes to health care systems in Europe. The group meets twice a year to discuss research papers, which will be presented by a discussant followed by a group discussion. The upcoming meeting will be hosted by the Department of Health Policy, LSE and will accommodate physical attendance in London and virtual at tendance of participants unable to travel to the United Kingdom due to the ongoing pandemic.

Abstracts can be submitted until 3 August 2020 and should be sent via email to Rocco Friebel ([log in para visualizar]). Authors will be advised if they have been successful by 7 August 2020 with draft papers or long abstracts (4-5 pages out lining the key elements in a structured approach) to be shared by 5 September 2020. We encourage submissions from early career researchers.
