The course is free, without fees, but places are limited.

In this short-course, the basics of Bayesian computation are first briefly reviewed; then, latent Gaussian models and their computational advantages are discussed; finally, the fundamental characteristics of the INLA approach are presented. A set of worked examples is presented and the modelling assumptions needed are discussed, with particular reference to the MCMC counterpart, which is described using JAGS.
