You will experience first-hand the expertise and professional training of Mike Drummond and Mark Sculpher, Professors of Health Economics (who recently released their fourth edition of the popular textbook ‘Methods for the Economic Evaluation of Health Care Programmes’ offering the very latest in economic evaluation training methods), and their team of dedicated and proficient lecturers and supporting tutors, from the world-renowned Centre for Health Economics at the University of York, UK.

Anyone involved in initiating, undertaking, managing or interpreting economic evaluations or quality of life assessments of medicines, within:
-  pharmaceutical and medical device companies
-  clinical and health services research
-  health care decision-making

Our workshops attract employees from major organisations including: AstraZeneca, Boehringer Ingelheim, GSK, Johnson & Johnson, MSD, Novartis, Pfizer, and Roche; as well as public sector University, Government and Hospital employees from around the world. 

To inform and promote understanding in key areas of quality of life assessment and health economic evaluation, and to learn how to:
-  decide whether a particular evaluation is necessary
-  choose a particular methodology
-  identify the data required and appropriate instruments for data collection
-  undertake appropriate analysis
-  communicate the results effectively
