OPEN positions at the Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas through the  
“National Programme for Recruitment and Incorporation of Human  
Resources”

Funding Agency: Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness
There are two programmes open for application:

"Juan de la Cierva" programme

Aim of the programme: provide financial suport for the recruitment of  
researchers that have obtained their PhD after 01/09/2008 to be  
incorporated along ICMAT research lines. In particular there are open  
positions to work within the Laboratory “Stephen Wiggins”:

The salary received by the researcher should not be less than 24,000 €  
per year, for three years, before taxes.

"Ramón y Cajal" programme

Aim of the programme: provide financial support grants for the  
recruitment of researchers to work independently at ICMAT that have  
obtained their PhD after 01/01/2002. The salary received by the  
researcher should not be less than 31,600€ per year, for five years,  
before taxes. Successful candidates will receive an additional  
financial support of € 40,000 to cover expenses related to the  
development of the research project.
