Dear Colleague,

We are pleased to invite  you to participate in the 26th international RGD (Rarefied Gas Dynamics) symposium which will be held at Kyoto 
University located  in a downtown  Kyoto.

The symposium deals with the properties and flows of rarefied gases and plasmas and their interactions. The interdisciplinary character of the symposium collects researchers from different fields including mathematics, physics, chemistry, fluid dynamics, and aerospace sciences, covering fundamental as well as applied aspects. Successive symposia have served as major forums for the presentation of advances in the fields. The 26th Symposium should be the next milestone in RGD. As a tradition of RGD symposia, the social program will introduce the participants to unforgettable places of Kyoto.
