Dear Colleague,

The Philippe Meyer Institute of Theoretical Physics at École Normale
Supérieure in Paris is calling for nominations for the 2020 Philippe
Meyer Prize in Theoretical Physics.
*The deadline for nomination is June 30, 2020.*

The Prize acknowledges exceptional contributions to the field of
Statistical Physics of Out-of-Equilibrium Systems. This theme is
understood very broadly, including classical and quantum systems, with
subjects ranging from mathematical aspects to condensed matter,
biophysics, etc.

The Prize aims at rewarding a young researcher, who obtained his or her
Ph.D. after January 1, 2010. (This limit is extended for women by one
year per child.)

We would greatly appreciate if you could:
(i) give to this announcement a wide circulation among our colleagues in
the statistical physics community and,
(ii) nominate exceptional candidates for the Prize. All nominations
should include a CV, a letter of presentation, and be addressed to:

nomination procedure in the attachment.

We thank you in advance,

Yours sincerely,
