POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATES
                        Niels Bohr Institute and
          Center for Chaos and Turbulence Studies, Copenhagen

 have theoretical and/or experimental openings at post-doctoral level for
 research in statistical physics, complex systems, fractals and self-
 organization in physics and biology, classical and quantum chaos,
 turbulence and related fields.

 Three of the positions are funded by the EU networks on ``Non-linear
 Dynamics of Extended Systems'' (coordinated by T. Bohr), ``Fractals and
 Self-organization'' (coordinated by P. Bak) and ``Intermittency''
 (coordinated by M.H. Jensen), and are open for applicants from EU countries,
 Norway, Israel and Switzerland.

 Applications should include a curriculum vitae, list of publications
 and a description of research interests and goals. In addition, applicants
 should arrange for 2-3 letters of reference to be sent directly. All material
