Dear colleagues: 

We are delighted to announce the V Symposium on Ecological Networks that this year will take place in Mallorca (Balearic Islands) on November 10th-12th. It will be special and novel in the sense that it will bring together, for the first time, biologists and theoretical physicists who work on network theory or use it as an approach to understand the structure and functioning of biological communities. 

The abstract submission is open from 1st to 15th June. You can find additional info in: econet2021.org 

Given its interdisciplinary nature, this symposium is organized by researchers from IMEDEA and IFISC, the two CSIC research centers in the Balearic Islands. 

Keynote speakers : Mercedes Pascual (University of Chicago - USA), Yamir Moreno (University of Zaragoza - Spain), Shai Pilosof (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev - Israel), Anna Eklöf (Linköping University - Sweden), Carlos Melián (EAWAG - Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology - Switzerland)
