Oslo Metropolitan University has started the recruitment of a new PhD student in Advanced Materials Technology,and the application deadline is 13. November. The candidate will develop nano-layered materials deposited with electro-hydrodynamic atomization, to produce memristors, i.e. electronic devices that can imitate the response of brain neurons. Memristors can be used to understand the brain better, and to produce neuromorphic computers that can implement artificial intelligence with a level of generality and high efficiency similar to the brain.
