Dear friends,

We are glad to announce that a new version of phpPoA has been released.
It includes the following changes:

* The same PoA.php file can be used with eitrher PHP 4 or 5: both
  versions are supported by the same source file.

* A new parameter in the php.ini, named phpPoA_ini_file, in order
  to locate the phpPoA configuration file.

* There is a new extended class (extended from the PoA class) to use the
  automatic redirection mode. Therefore we have two classes (PoA and
  autoPoA) to use each operation mode.

* Support for HTTPS.

We'd like to thank all the PAPI user community for their help in testing
and further developing phpPoA, and specially Jaime Perez-Crespo (URJC)
and Victoriano Giralt (UMA).

You can access the new phpPoA release and download the software at

Best regards,
