First of all, we would like to inform you that the World Year of Physics has
been declared by the UN General Assembly "International Year of Physics
  2005" (http://www.un.org/Depts/dhl/resguide/r58.htm) .
The launching of the Year will take place at UNESCO headquarters in Paris
from 13 to 15 January 2005 (http://www.wyp2005.org/unesco/)

The European Physical Society tries to regularly update the web pages of the
international website for the World Year of Physics 2005
(http://www.wyp2005.org). For this purpose, we kindly ask you to send us new
information (dates, places, links, contacts) which are not yet listed for
your events.
