Call for Papers is open for 2017 AHES Conference in Sydney NSW (Thursday 21st - Friday 22th September) AHES Conference 2017 - Sydney Our annual conference this year will be held in Sydney on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd of September 2017, at the Australian National Maritime Museum. The local organisers are: Henry Cutler, Bonny Parkinson, and Ashley Soytemiz (Macquarie University Centre for the Health Economy). We are delighted to announce that our keynote speakers for the 2017 conference will be: Maarten Lindeboom (Professor of Economics at VU University, Amsterdam) and Meredith Rosenthal (Professor of Health Economics and Policy at Harvard University). Short presentation (20 min presentation; 5 min Q&A) 2. Long presentation (35 min presentation; 10 min discussion; 5 min Q&A) 3. Organised sessions (100 minutes, consisting of 4 presentations) All Submissions are to be made via our online abstract submission form by the deadline of: Sunday 4thJune 2017. Long paper submissions will require a full paper (maximum 8000 words, in pdf format) to be submitted with the abstract, and all selected papers will have a discussant allocated. Papers that are not accepted for a long paper will be considered for the short paper sessions. AHES is also offering the AHES travel scholarship this year. Eligible applicants must submit a full paper (maximum 8,000 words, in pdf format) together with your abstract by the deadline.
