Dear all,
I have an open position for a PhD-student (
https://jobs.aston.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=R180190), I would be grateful if you could
spread it to anyone who might be interested. The position is for three years, and mainly aimed at EU students (non-EU students would need to apply for additional funding to cover the higher tuition fee, but this remains an option).
It is a theoretical studentship on dynamics of (time-delay) networks; possible projects include the role of motifs on network dynamics, time-varying connectivity and possible applications for information processing or smart
cities. I am more than happy to provide more specific information if required.
Prospective students should have a bachelor degree in mathematics or physics. I would prefer a master degree in any relating topic (but this is not necessary). Any background knowledge of dynamical systems, or programming
skills, is an advantage, but I am willing to consider anyone with an interest in doing research in nonlinear dynamics.
Thanks a lot,
Otti D'Huys
