Espero que este año haya tenido un excelente comienzo en lo personal y en lo profesional.
Creo que ya lo sabéis, pero por si se os había pasado, os escribo para recordaros que el próximo IBEREO se celebra en Oporto este año:

Dear colleague,
On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to invite you to participate at the 7th Iberian Meeting on Rheology (IBEREO 2019), with the theme “Recent developments in rheology”. The current edition will take place from 4th to 6th of September 2019, in the Rectory building of the University of Porto, located at the historical centre of the city of Porto (Portugal).
During the meeting, the most recent trends in rheology will be addressed, with a special emphasis on both basic science and industrial applications covered from different perspectives, i.e. experimental, theoretical and numerical. The meeting will include two invited keynote presentations, lectured by Prof. Annie Colin (École Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielle, France) and Prof. Juan de Vicente (Faculty of Sciences University of Granada, Spain), as well as oral and poster contributions on the main topics:
• Non-Newtonian fluid mechanics
• Microfluidics and microrheology
• Food, Cosmetics and Pharmaceutical Products
• Suspensions and Colloids
• Rheometry and Experimental Methods
• Polymers and Biopolymers
Finally, a wide variety of social activities will help create great memories of IBEREO 2019 and Porto. It is worth to mention that Porto was awarded as the best destination in Europe two times recently (2014 and 2017).
