3rd French Russian Conference on Random Geometry and Physics: Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model and related topics
Steklov Mathematical Institute, Moscow, June 3 to June 7, 2019.

This is the third conference in the successful French-Russian series «Random Geometry
and Physics». For this iteration of the conference, we chose its main focus and subtitle to
be the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model and related topics. It will include related problems on
quantum gravity, especially about holography, quantum black holes, quantum chaos,
random tensors and the melonic approximation. However the conference is not narrowly
focused: it will welcome the participation of scientists interested in related topics from
quantum field theory, string theory, matrix models, integrable models, mathematical physics of
random or quasi-periodic media. More details are available at the website rgp19.mi-ras.ru.
The registration is open.

at the Institut Henri Poincaré in Paris, from September 16th to 27th, 2019.

The aim of the school is to bring together PhD students and young researchers with interest
in low-dimensional quantum field theory and its applications to statistical physics and
condensed matter systems. Introductory subjects as well as recent advances will be covered.
Lecturers: A. Bernevig `Topological Matter’, T. Prosen `Many-body quantum chaos and
random matrix theory’, A. Nahum `Entanglement and information spreading’, G. Schehr
`Growth processes and integrability’, J.-M. Stephan `Extreme boundary conditions and random tilings’.

31st IUPAP Conference in Computational Physics
The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong, China, 28 July to 1 August

The Conference on Computational Physics (CCP) is a series of conferences held annually under
the auspices of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) on the basis of
endorsement by its Commission on Computational Physics (C20). The purpose of the conference
series is to bring together computational scientists working in physics and closely related areas
to exchange the latest developments in computational techniques and their applications.
CCP2019 features plenary, invited and contributed talks as well as poster presentations in a wide
number of subject areas of active interest to the computational physics community.

Conference on Transport Phenomena in Complex Environments,
Majorana Centre, Erice (Sicily), Italy, 3-6 September 2019

The conference aims to bring together scientists and practitioners working
on various aspects of transport phenomena in complex environments not only
in physics but also in biology, traffic engineering, etc.  Leading
researchers from physics and related interdisciplinary fields will
participate. The conference deals with a selection of cutting-edge
scientific research topics within the general area of transport phenomena
in complex environments from colloids up to macroscopic objects s such
vehicles. Organisers: E. Foulaadvand, H. Löwen, A. Schadschneider.
