3rd French Russian Conference on Random Geometry and
Physics: Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model and related topics
Steklov Mathematical Institute, Moscow, June 3 to June 7,
2019.
This is the third conference in the successful French-Russian
series «Random Geometry
and Physics». For this iteration of the
conference, we chose its main focus and subtitle to
be the Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev model and related
topics. It will include related problems on
quantum gravity, especially about holography,
quantum black holes, quantum chaos,
random tensors and the melonic approximation.
However the conference is not narrowly
focused: it will welcome the participation of
scientists interested in related topics from
quantum field theory, string theory, matrix
models, integrable models, mathematical physics of
The registration is open.

to 27th, 2019.
The aim of the school is to bring together PhD students and
young researchers with interest
in low-dimensional quantum field theory and its applications
to statistical physics and
condensed matter systems. Introductory subjects as well as
recent advances will be covered.
Lecturers: A. Bernevig `Topological Matter’, T. Prosen
`Many-body quantum chaos and
random matrix theory’, A. Nahum `Entanglement and information
spreading’, G. Schehr
`Growth processes and integrability’, J.-M. Stephan `Extreme

31st IUPAP Conference in Computational Physics
The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong, China, 28
July to 1 August
The Conference on Computational Physics (CCP) is a series of
conferences held annually under
the auspices of the International Union of Pure and Applied
Physics (IUPAP) on the basis of
endorsement by its Commission on Computational Physics (C20).
The purpose of the conference
series is to bring together computational scientists working
in physics and closely related areas
to exchange the latest developments in computational
techniques and their applications.
CCP2019 features plenary, invited and contributed talks as
well as poster presentations in a wide
number of subject areas of active interest to the
computational physics community.
