Visiting Scholars Program

Centre for Health Economics Monash University Visiting Scholars Program
Applications are invited from researchers who wish to visit the Centre for Health Economics at Monash Business School, Monash University in Melbourne for a period of between 2 and 6 months in 2020. Applications from international researchers are particularly welcome.

A key aim of the visit should be to build or reinforce links with researchers at the Centre for Health Economics and make substantial progress on a piece of collaborative research as a result of the visit.

The value of the fellowship is up to AUD 20,000 as a contribution towards travel and accommodation in Melbourne. As a visitor to Monash University the researcher will be provided with excellent office and computing facilities and be able to take advantage of the vibrant set of seminar programs in the Centre and the School during their stay.

Criteria:
•	A visitor-led collaborative research plan agreed with a senior member of the Centre’s staff who will act as sponsor for the visit
•	Realistic expectation of a paper or other research output advanced within the visit
•	Relevance to the research strengths and interests of the Centre for Health Economics
Interested applicants may wish to discuss their plans informally with a senior member of the Centre’s staff before submitting an application to Shannon Stanwell, who can also circulate the application to find the most suitable internal sponsor. The application should include:
•	A current CV
•	A description of your proposed research plan and the rationale for collaboration with the Centre
•	Proposed visit dates
