Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Registration for all sessions of the CECAM Mixed-Gen series is now available, together with information for each event, at

CECAM Mixed-Gen 

The second instalment of the series will take place on March 4 2021 from 15:00 to 19:00 CET with a session dedicated to the broad topic of Active Matter. 

Our experienced speaker is Prof. Julia Yeomans, Oxford University, who will present a Zoom webinar titled “Phase field models for mechanobiology”. Two more webinars, selected via a lottery from the posters submitted for this session (see below) will follow.

In the second part of the event, we shall move to a virtual poster session hosted in a Gather room where more PhD students and researchers in their first post-doc will present pertinent projects. Please note that only registered participants to the event will have access to the poster session. The session’s speaker and other expert guests will join us to view and discuss the posters with their presenters. Posters from the session on Activated Events will also be available for viewing.

We would be grateful if you could disseminate this information to potentially interested PhD students and young researchers. Of course, more senior members of the CECAM community - always young at heart - are also very welcome!

Details on the Zoom and Gather connections will be provided closer to the date of the event.
