Dear all,
We are offering two postdoc positions (4 and 3 years, respectively, full time)
and one PhD student position (4 years full time, also fully funded) in
social network analysis in Barcelona, Spain.
- The Postdoc position of 4 years is embedded within my ERC Advanced Grant project "A Network Science Approach to Social Cohesion in European Societies". If you have a doctorate in (quantitative) sociology, social science statistics,
computational social sciences, network science or a related field and would like to collaborate on a new form of estimating social cohesion based on the Network Scale-Up Method and personal network analysis, you might be interested:
- The PhD student position of 4 years is embedded in the same ERC Advanced Grant project and concerns the cross-European survey we´ll be conducting about personal networks and cohesion. So if you´re interested in becoming a PhD student, your background
is in (quantitative) sociology, political sciences, social science statistics, computational social sciences, network science, or a closely related field, and you´re interested in topics of social cohesion and networks, check it out:
- The Postdoc position of 3 years is embedded within the international project "Inclusivity Norms to Counter Polarization in European Societies" funded by the Volkswagen Foundation, in collaboration with Maarten van Zalk (lead PI; University
of Osnabrück), Eva Jaspers (University of Utrecht), Oliver Christ (FernUniversität in Hagen), and Marcin Bukowski (Jagiellonian University, Krakow). If you have a doctorate in sociology, social psychology, anthropology, political science with qualitative training,
and you´re interested in social networks and polarization, this might be of interest to you:
The application deadline for all positions is the 15th of September.
Best wishes,
Miranda
