Candidates are sought for a four-year Ph.D. fellowship (FPI contract) in 
the Statistical Physics Group at the University of Extremadura (SPhinX), 
Badajoz, Spain.

The fellowship is financed by the Spanish MCIN/AEI and is associated 
with the Research Grant PID2020-112936GB-I00:

*Complex systems: A statistical physics approach*

• Gross salary: 1,386 euro/month (first two years); 1,486 euro/month 
(third year); 1,858 euro/month (fourth year)
• Additional funding for research visits to other institutions and 
attendance to conferences
• Requirement: Master Degree in Science or Engineering
• Open to citizens of any nationality
• Deadline for application: November 11, 2021
