The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS-TIFR), Bengaluru invites applications for the program "Celebrating the Science of Giorgio Parisi (Online)" scheduled to be held from 15 December 2021 to 17 December 2021 via Zoom.
About the program:
This is a 3-day (online) discussion meeting to celebrate the many aspects of Giorgio Parisi's work on 15 - 17 December, 2021, organised at the ICTS-TIFR, Bangalore.
Parisi himself, as a part of this meeting, will deliver the ICTS Distinguished Lecture on 16 December, 2021.
The speakers in this meeting (listed below) will cover different aspects of Parisi's work and deliver one-hour lectures tracing its origins and Parisi's role, recent developments, as well as a perspective for the future. These lectures are aimed for both students and experts.
