PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project aims to develop a biological solution for reducing CO2 emissions from bioenergy combustion systems by converting captured CO2 into carbon-negative energy carriers. It focuses on using photosynthesis to turn biogenic CO2 into energy-rich biomass, which can then be transformed into renewable energy sources like biocrude and biogas, with renewable hydrogen added to promote carbon circularity. Task to be performed include: design, construction, and operation of batch and continuous bioreactors for biogas production through high-efficiency biotechnologies using microalgae. Preparation of reports and presentations. Other project-related tasks.
